  1. im not really sure there is much you can do, but you could buy some skate tape to protect your skates and cover up the cut in your boot... but scratches and nicks on the boots make you look cooler lol. all figure skaters have scratches and stuff on their skates, mine are a mess.

you could also get boot covers, or over the boot tights to protect your skates.

  2. stitch it

    lol

    hope this helps !!!

  3. Well if it's a really big, deep cut then I suggest taking it to the nearest pro shop. They may have some sort of paste to fill it in. Or you could buy it yourself, and fill it in. However, I do not know what the name or brand is. Sorry! But if it's just a minor cut, you could buy the skate tape and wrap it around your boot.

    Best of luck! :)

  4. You can call Riedell and present your case, hopefull your boots might still be under warranty if at all they would cover such a thing; or you may just have to buy a new one.

If you do have to get a new pair I'd go with Klingbeil boots, they are customs and Don, the owner is usually good at helping customers, and they are supper comfortable. he treats everyone like a champion.

However if skating is not a passion of yours, custom made boots may not be a good choice for you. The basic cost is $600.

  5. take it to sportchek

  6. Its probably not a big deal. Check out some other serious skater. What you will see is an assortment of odd colored stains (i actually do not know where these come from..), huge gashes, toe pick nicks, and leather just being sanded off from lunges (hate these, killer on my leather!)

Anyways its probably not really gonna matter.

But, if you wanna squeeze money from your friend's cousin, you can get some skate tape, and just apply it where the gash is. Or go to a pro skate shop and they can probably apply something and buff it up. If not, just wear over the boot tights all the time, plus this will help pretect your skates anyways.

  7. unfortunately not much you can do but cover it with tape or polish so its not as noticeable....skates get beat up. its part of the sport. you can tape them up with skate tape for protection to prevent it but even then it happens. most peoples skates are a mess unless their brand new!!
