I was trying to download pictures off my Kodak EasyShareC743 a few days ago, and I removed the USB safely (with the remove safely option that shows on my computer as I have Windows XP) but when I tried to turn it on, it wouldn't.

The batteries are fine, the SD card is the recommended size, but it just doesn't turn on. It didn't get wet, beaten up or anything. It's a very nice camera that takes great pictures, I just don't want to have to replace it.

Try reboot the system and make sure no heavy object sitting on the cable.

Also blow away the dust inside the USB sockets with low pressure compress air.

    Then try it again.

  2. try different batteries

    to be sure

if not, it has to be repaired
