Question:

How to fix a squeeky headboard?

Our bed is new- we've only had it a year. And it was expensive. So I'm getting frustrated that it squeeks whenever I roll around in my sleep or when I first climb into bed, etc.

It's pine and it has like a slot and hook attachment with the rails (that support the bed). They're hooked together tight. But I think it might be too topheavy. We have rolled up towels stuffed behind it so it's more supported and less squeeky. But that isnt working anymore. How can I make it stop squeeking for good?

  1. have your s*x in another bed.

  2. Stop having s*x in bed.

  3. Put "oil" between the metal parts, and put "talcum powder" between the wooden parts that squeek : P

  4. Spray WD-40 where the bed hooks together to the head board and the foot of the bed. Wipe up excess.

    Works like a charm

  5. You could rub a bar of soap on all the joints (metal or wood).  This will act as a lubricant and stop the squeak.
