How to fix a video that is taken by a digicam in a sideway position to be burn in an upright position? ?

I took a video using my digicam but I don't know that if you flip it sideways the picture will also be sideways, and now when i convert it to mpeg for burning to cd the video are all sideways. So how to fix it back to it's right position?

Check your converting software.  Also try the free video editing software that came with your computer (Windows Movie Maker or iMovie).  Most have a rotate video function.
