  1. Xp vista record all data the blue screen leaves a dump file which if you can find that there is a small dump reader from microsoft which will tell what file or Hard ware is causing it. The easy way of doing it though is through admin tools and look up event viewer look at errors and work from the codes the crash caused. THis is very easy to google the code number and find out what it is. With Xp because it's been around and the most common OS it should be easy to find. 9\10 fixes will be from microsoft

  2. There are several factors why you are having bsod's.

Most important, the hardware. Bsod's always says that check your hardware if it is properly installed. If your hardware is not properly installed or not compatible, it can cause bsods. Assure that every hardware you install is compatible with your system and install the drivers properly.

The second important, the registry. It is the secondary factor of blue screens. Wrong registry or corrupt keys makes bad instructions to the system and the system blocks it by bsods to prevent damage to your computer. This is same with software. Wrong sets of instructions by programs also makes Bsods (0x0000003, 0x0000003e, etc).

    Get a registry cleaner @ http://www.eusing.com/free_registry_clea...

i use it and it reduces bsods.

    hope this helped ^_^

  3. Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This  problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info
