How to fix corrupted cab file?

Question

I have a corrupted cab file, that needs fixing. Only program to fix it is ACR (advanced cab repair) but I dont have money to pay for the full version, and trial only identifies if the file can be fixed, but doesnt fix it. Any sugestions where I can get alternative file fixing program? Thanks

.cab as in Microsoft ? I suggest you visit the MS site ..

PS a Google search for ACR reported at least one site offering the 'commercial' version for download is virus infected .. so beware ..
