  1. Practically?  Voting Democratic is probably the most effective way.  The only people who can really do anything about it is congress and the president.  And republicans don't even acknowledge that it exists, so as long as they're in power, write all you want in your report, nothing's going to be done about it.

Solving global warming isn't a difficult problem.  There are numerous ways and they're all known by lots of people.  It's getting them implemented that's the real problem.

    1. Drive less

    2. Mass transport

    3. Use CFL bulbs or flourescent lights.

    4. Convert to other power sources, like fusion or hydroelectric (France is almost all advanced fusion plants (breeder reactors), and they have the cheapest energy in the world, and plenty of it)

    5. fund research into alternative energy sources (like Bussard's Polywell http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polywell )

    6. hybrid cars

    7. enforce existing environmental laws for corporations (which was being done prior to Bush)

    8. roll back the "Clear Skies Act" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clear_Skies... ) passed by the republican congress

    9. have the U.S. sign onto the Kyoto Protocol (again, done by voting democratic)

plenty of ways.  there's plenty more.  it's a matter of implementation.  i'd have to go with "knock some sense into republicans".  you'd solve a lot of other problems, that way, too.  (corruption, failing schools, international tensions...)

  2. Use revived batteries (scrapped batteries, reused) in an electric vehicle. Solves global warming AND pollution at the same time.

To stop the burning of fossil fuels

we really need to get four more

    similar electric vehicles

    in Vancouver's roads.

  3. keep me away from the LADIES..

  4. Stopping deforestation is a good start. The burning of the rainforest contributes 1/5 to all of the CO2 in the atmosphere. There's actually a very simple and completely FREE way to help preserve the rainforest.

Simply CLICK these links once a day to save a piece of the rainforest for FREE. Paid for completely by sponsors.

  5. ..Dont be offended by this,But..

Even if you find any ways,No-one is going to follow them or atleast TRY to stop Global Warming.

  6. 1) prove that it is not within man's ability to influence it.

    2) prove it is not happening or that it is within norms

All of us stop burning any type of fuel - all fuels effect the climate

Stop eating cow meat only eat vegetables or dairy product

May we all be constipated so as not to pollute

Upon our deaths we should be chopped up for animal feed and plant fertilizer

I recommend mandatory abortion until all humans only live in San Francisco Calif.  Those liberals know all that is correct.

Stop all broadcasting the radio waves are interfering with the natural order of things

  7. Global warming is caused by the sun (99%). The earth has been warming since the end of the last ice age, about 10,000 years ago. The earth is still warming. The only way to stop global warming is to extinguish the sun. But, that might cause unwanted global cooling.

Mars is experiencing global warming. The polar ice caps are melting. This has nothing to do with greenhouse gasses. The sun is producing more solar energy.

To answer your question,  there isn't much man can do about it.

  8. cut down on pollution would help a lot, but thats a start and recycle.
