How to fix horizontal red/colored lines on Phillips 42" plasma TV??

How can I fix Red horizontal lines (2 Large ones) going across the screen of my Phillips 42" plasma TV ?

I bought a Phillips 42" plasma TV about 2 years ago for $1800. About a week ago it started to have to thick horizontal lines at the top of the screen and in the middle. They are red most of the time but colors do change depending on what is on the screen. I have been searching and I hear a lot of horror stories about phillips plasma tv, but none with my specific problem. Anybody have a similar problem or know how to fix? Or know if possible to fix it! $1800 dollars for a TV that works for 2 years is a rip off!!

Unfortunately Plasma TV's are not as reliable as the LCD or CRT screens yet.The main problem is that they cost a fortune to repair if they can be fixed and often they cannot. Nithing you can do but I would contact Phillips and complain stongly. They probably will not do anything but it's worth a try. Good luck.
