  1. lithium batteries are not suited to high temperatures such as 38 C.

it is probably not covered by warranty due to high temperature but one the battery goes its a case or a replacement! as these often leak fumes that damage electronics too.

this is a dead unit now and not worth attempting to repair try and get it replaced under warranty or buy anew one!.

  2. Its your fault they will say.

The instruction book will give you the temp in degrees to operate the thing in & they will prob say you used it in direct sunlight or something like that & it made the battery cook.

Considering you are in Greece it would be cheaper to get a new one.

    Hope you get it sorted

  3. Yiu need to contact the manufacturer or take it back to where you got it and make them give you a new one.

  4. As it's only 4 months old you could take it back to the shop where you got it, that sounds like it is defective (unless something odd happend to it ie left it somewhere very hot)

If you bought it from a supermarket getting a refund or replacement is very easy from personal experiece as customer service is there top priority. If you bought it in an electronics shop they shoud still replace it but some will do anything to avoid refunding/replacing products.
