Question:

How to fix my 1.5 year old BBQ ?

I have a 1.5 year old BBQ (patio Chef) and it worked fine until last week.

Suddenly the flames are very low and it won't heat up above 200-250 degrees.

I tried to replace the propane tank, detach the tank & open the flames to man in order to release air from the tubes etc but nothing works.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

  1. You need to change the regulator.  The round shaped (looks like a flying saucer,  metal.)  They sell it at Home Depot or Lowe's or any home center.  It will do the trick

  2. check for spiders making webs in the gas tubes before buying parts you don't need .

  3. sounds like the regulator is bad.
