I just got hit in my rear bumper right at the corner of the bumper along the line of curvature. There's no visible breaks, only a depression the size one and a half fists. The paint's intact. What is the best and cheapest way to fix this.

Thanks a lot...10 points for best answer guaranteed!!!

  1. what type of car ? year body? , but all my friends have dents in there bumpers i just take the bumper off and pop the dents out , then put the bumper back on, metal/plastic bumpers

  2. sister did something very similar, she ended up just having to call around to the body shops to have them pop it out. call a few and compare prices. she ended up ruining the paint attempting it on her own.

  3. if its one of the plastic ones, can you get behind it and push it out with a fist?

you might have to get on the ground to get access to the spot thats pushed in.

  4. If I were you Id take the bumper off and lay it on the ground put a pillow or like a cushion down and put the dented area on it then tap it out with a rubber mallet that way you wont mess it up more and you can pop it out I did it on my mom s van when I backed into a pole and she never noticed

  5. Pop The Dent Out With Yo Hand And If U Mess Up Get Some Bondo And Plaster It Up All Even And Spray It Back The Same Color.
