Question:

How to fix my tattoo :(?

Ok, so I know everyone is going to say I didn't take care of it, but the thing is, I DID. I used tattoo goo, cleaned it, everything. I got this tattoo back in June and it looks like half never finished peeling, and some of the color left too. :( I always wore flip flops (that didnt touch it) so it wouldnt get messed up by actual shoes rubbing on it. It also looks very plain (It looked better on the computer) so I want to add something to it when I get it fixed..

What do you think happened to it?

And what should I do?

What should I get added on?

  1. just get a cover up and use Vaseline lotion instead of the other stuff when healing, so it breaths, get a rose over it or something

    good luck

  2. I would get someone to fill it in a bit with shadow to make it look less one-dimensional. I'd also make the lines black instead of red.  Who knows what went wrong - could have been a bad artist, sun exposure, bad ink, etc.

  3. if it was on around your foot it might have gotten too much sun... sun is bad for tattoos no matter how old they are, but are even worse for fresh ones. I would say get it redone or covered up, most shops will do touch ups and such for free, so check on that, and stay out of the sun as much as possible.

  4. it's possible your skin just didnt take to the color, i have a few cousins who have tattoos in pink and red and some of the color always fades nomatter how often they get it redone.  so try getting it touched up and if that doesnt work then there isnt much you can do

  5. tats on your feet and hands wear off faster then anywhere else.
