How to fix my xbox 360?

Question

Its actually not mine, but my friend is over at my house and my television fell on top of it. The disk drive is making a really loud sound when any xbox 360 game is in it, but doesn't do it when a cd is in it. I think his warranty has ran out, and we need to know urgently before my friend has to go home!!! Thank you

i don't think the factory warranty even covers damaged xbox's it has to be defective like red rings or something it doesn't cover if it's the consumer's falt.. but if you bought it at a best buy and you bought the warranty that they offer your in luck and if it is not out dated then you can get a new one no matter what but other than that you can find somewhere that will fix it or find a microsoft warranty policy.....google it

all 360's had the warranty extended 3 yrs from date of purchase.call microsoft ..don't mention the tv falling on it.they'll send him a new one or repair it...i had the rings and they replaced mine free.
