How to fix resolution in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3?

I installed the game, loaded it, everything worked fine. Then i messed up at the screen resolution, because i chose 1280x768. Now the whole screen is black, when i load up, during intro, when the game loads... all i see is a black screen saying Video Mode Not Supported. Does anybody have any idea how to reverse this so i can play? Oh and I searched Google a little and found out that resolution settings are in the Options.txt file in the installation folder. I opened the file but there was no this kind of setting there. Please help me

Same thing happened to me. This was before i had a graphics card that was able to support 1280x768(very tiny resolution)

I wouldn't mess with the txt files. Unless you know what you're doing you could mess the program up like i did. But anyways. Just uninstall the game and re-install the game again. Remember to choose the right screen settings this time.

If you need to see what screen resolutions your computer supports follow these instructions.

On main desktop (Right Click)>Properties>Settings Tab.

There it should list the possible screen resolutions that your computer's graphics card supports.

If you want further info about your graphics card i suggest you visit the company's website. As it may describe your card in more detail.
