Question:

How to fix scratches in my bumper/car? ?

I have a Ford Focus. On the bottom side of my car there is some molding that is made out of (I think) the same material as the bumper. I somehow managed to scrape this on a high curb. It isn't on the actual metal body of the car, just the molding. There are a few long gouges. How can I fill/fix this on my own?

  1. Just buy some touch-up paint and apply  it sparimgly !

  2. The only way to truly color match it is to by another bumper cover. (plastic) Touch up paint looks like c**p and a respray is never the same color. It all depends on how good you want it to look and how much you want to spend.

  3. If you want it done right and a job you'll be happy with, don't try.  Have it replaced at the local body shop.

  4. Buy a new bumper/car.
