How to fix up and sell worn american girl dolls?

I have 4 american girl dolls that i have had since i was little. I don't play with them anymore, so i was thinking of selling them and giving the money to charity. ebay is an ok place to sell them, but i don't know if i will get any offers for dolls who are out of the box and have haircuts. i wanted to be hairdresser so i cut their hair. it is fifty dollars to get them new heads, so how should i fix them up and how much should i ask for?

they will bring good money on ebay you will be surprised. I have had people that can not buy them new or in perfect condition buy them from me. I have gotten pictures back with the children on how happy they were to receive them. If the are marked Pleasant company on the back even better!!!!
