How to fix xbox 360 problem?

i was playing xbox today and it just froze up for no reason. now when i put in a game it freezes up after like 3-5 minutes of playing. and it is not the 3 red light thing. how do i fix this problem permanently

i fixed it myself manually and didn't mail it back to microsoft

Have you checked the amount of HD space you have?  You might also want to try just doing one task at a time, like playing the game without listening to music on your console.
