How to fix your xbox 360 from 3 red lights

Beside taking it to get repaired ive been doing some looking up about this on my labtop and i cant understand anything. People who have experienced this and fixed their xbox 360 on their own please tell me how to fix it. Please i need to play soul calibur 4 pleeeeeeease help!!!!! me.

To fix it yourself what you need to do is stop the GPU and the CPu from taking such a hammering of heat, you can do this with simple household items and you will not get the rings of death again.

I hope this makes sense and you are right it is a good idea to get a good guide before you try and do this.

Alternativly you can send it in to be repaired.

just call xbox and they will send you a box to put the xbox in to send it to them and if they cant fix it they send you a new one. pluse most of the time they do it free of charge

Try this website out it is great and will fix your xbox 360 good as new in less than an hour. Also they explain how to fix your xbox all in videos so it’s really easy. I did it by myself and used tools that I had in my house. Also DO NOT try the towel trick it only works for like a week and one of my friends said he left the towel on too long and it lit his xbox on fire! Yea so just give this site a try.

This happened to my brother and if it's still under waranty you can send it back.....go to the x-box website.....

in my opinion i wouldnt open up my 360 to repair anything myself. for 99 dollars microsoft will send you a prepaid shipping box and within 2 weeks you shoul have it back. plus you get a 1yr warranty and 3mths of live for free. i had the same issue and i sent mine in and they jus sent me a brand new one. if u decide to try to fix it urself and fail, microsoft will not service a tampered 360. so instead of being out an extra 99 bucks youd be out a couple hundred. but when you consider the warrenty and the fact tht you may get a brand new system, after what youve invested so far its not a bad deal. good luck!
