How to follow through on your shot?

I had researched and read on how to "follow through" on your shot. However, I still did not improve my shooting following these tips. Can someone explain in maybe simpler terms on how to follow through on your shot in basketball?

if reading doesn't help get someone to help you. its easier with some kind of teacher or tutor.

don't just go out and practice something that you're doing wrong in the first place =D

Just shoot comfortably. If you can make most of them, you're set.

you won't improve by reading about following though.. you improve by practicing your shot over and over and over again
