Mom made an appointment with the Nickelodeon Talent Agency on this friday (in three days). And I was wondering, whatexactly should I wear, what should I tell them about me. Do I need to take a headshot without make-up, with just eyeliner or full on make-up....I have a bit of acne on me. And I am not the thinnest person ever but I am a healthy average.

My talents include playing the flute, horn, writing poetry, cooking.

I can be goofy without embarrassing (sp?) myself, I love being around people.

And I really Really want this career, I've always seen myself on tv and such and I don't want to be tooo over the top or tooo dull.

help?

  1. I'm just wondering do you mean Nickelodeon the tv channel? because Nickelodeon itself does not have a talent agency, do you mean your auditioning for a nickelodeon show or a talent agency. But either way just wear casual clothes jeans and nice top but nothing too loud or with big designs or letters on it and make sure to dress your age. For the audition you should have very natural makeup. You can have make up on in your headshot you just shouldn't look like it's caked on. If you already have a headshot  you should be fine with that. It's fine if your not super thin. Don't try to be something your not, just show your personality. Don't go out of your way to look like a goof ball if your not, just be happy and fun. You can't make an agency want you, you can only try your best.

  2. i am going to auditions like you and recently got called back to a really good casting directer.

    here is what i did...

i had a headshot with make-up, but it still was very natural...light mascara, foundation, and a tiny bit of eyeliner and blush

you deffinitly dont need to be skinny to act

i wore somthing that made me stand out, but it was still nice: a knee length skirt and a solid orange tank top. you should dress as if you were going to a casual church

whenever i go on auditions i always have a monologue memorized, and i am usually asked to say a monologue, but they may give you somthing to read.

you should also make an acting resume that shows what training you have had and what plays you have been in or any other experience. also write your talents on it and awards you have received.

just be yourself and be polite and be a good actress an you should be fine
