Question:

How to further strengthen my shin bones? among other joints and bones?

I train my shins by bashing a wooden support beam, rolling a broom handle on them as hard as I can, its to the point where I can slam the pole (very weakly padded so i don't bust/cut my skin open) without flinching, I want to further my shin's strength.

Also, how can i work on toughening my joints and other bones, my forearms are pretty decent.

  1. Just for the record, doing this will give you severe joint problems, poor circulation in the legs and make your life h**l. You will need a cane/walker, and might even become relegated to a wheelchair.

    Unless you are doing this as a means to make a living, and have no alternative... I would highly recommend refraining from this kind of physical abuse.

    Otherwise, take in copious amounts of calcium, Vitamin D, Protein, and Glucosamine Condroitin. Do heavy calf raises, sitting and standing, feet rotating all degrees in the different sets; and continue bashing them against trees.

    basically it involves knocking on all parts of body with a something soft initially and when one does not feel pain any more, the object is changed to something harder until metal is used.

    It also needs some instruction on breathing techniques.

    In general, it may take 2-3 years to achieve some level of proficiency. Hope this helps.

  3. i work with a guy from Thailand and he had a punching bag in his basement that is full of sand every 2 weeks he has added a cup of water and the kids kick it with there shins. they never notice the difference. but it gets harder and harder.  you on the other hand don't have him as a dad so you would have to do the same a go very slow like they are. hope you get the point that he is slowly doing it and your body adjusts slowly. don't go hard and expect your body to learn
