  1. i wish i knew the answer. my son turned 3 in june. he refuses to go. i was told to wait until they are ready, if you try to force it they end up becoming bed wetters. on the otherhand, my almost 2 yr old niece is potty trained. her mom kept her naked all day during potty training..

  2. I was so scared of potty training...and still am annoyed by it but I am halfway there with my daughter who is 2 1/2.

I started off by telling her what pee and p**p was and where it went. That didn't work so I tried stickers and that also didn't work. She told me she knew what pee was and when I told her to go to her potty she was like "NO".

One day she randomly went into the bathroom sat down and peed but refused to do it again. I think she hated the potty she had so I bought her a new one with a foam seat (the hard plastic I guess was hurting her) and she went pee mostly from then on. The only Issue I am having now is pooping.

So besides me explaining what it was and were it went it was her choice to go in the potty.

  3. I'm half trying with my nearly 2.5 girl but she still gets confused between wee and poo.

She won't tell me when she's done a poo so I don't stand a chance getting her on the potty before the event!!

I don't think she's ready yet despite the fact she finds it a novelty to sit on the potty.

I think I'm just going to wait a bit till she knows she wants to go and starts telling me.

There are more important things in life!
