How to gain 20 pounds?

I was wondering how i would gain around 20 pounds. i weigh 125 pounds an I'm 15 an i do play football (soccer) at a high level so i was wondering how i would gain weight and not just burn it all playing football. and i do lift weights but its not very often.

  1. Eat at mcdonald!


  2. add 300-500 calories to your daily caloric intake. maybe 60% of it should be like loaded with protein. 20 or 30% of it should be fatty foods (which you can build muscle on). Also drink lots of water.. Now remember that all of the food consumption has to be balanced with your strength training. So hit the gym more.

  3. Eat about 1.5 to 2 grams of protein per body weight.. So you should eat about 175-250 grams of protein a day...and workout more.

  5. If you want muscle weight, you'll need to eat lots of protein and lift weights more/that are heavier. Do bunches of pushups. I do 50+ per day, but I'm a girl. I guess I'm not eating enough protein when you look at my arms. ;D Fat is pretty easy to gain for the most part. (but that depends) But since this is for sports, muscle is the best way to go! :) Good luck!
