How to gain 22 pounds? i am too skinny! help?

I am too skinny i need to gain 22 pounds at least, what do i need to eat

i will work out in gym i heard that working out will increase my weight because the muscles is heavier than fat, can i see any result of working out in a month?

another thing, i will have braces soon, is it true it will lower my eating (because i need to eat a lot) i heard that at times the pain makes me stop eating

  1. I'm skinny too. But don't do that to yourself. Your body won't like it. And if you do your body might not be able to stop so be happy 4 your size.

    I know this website with some good muscle building articles from fitness trainers. it's http://fitness4u.sitesled.com THere is a insane muscle gain report on the right column you can download for free. I actually bought the no nonsense muscle book that's on the bottom left column. It really gave me all the info I needed to know to gain the muscle. This guy is really motivational and knows his stuff. It's got dvd's included too so you can see how to do the workouts. He use to be skinny too. Read his page. It's alot cheaper then buying a personal trainer.


  6. yes braces will hurt i had them but they dont make u stop eating. its jus at first when u get them, your teeth become very sore so it makes eating hard, but ONLY for the first 2 weeks or so. it depends for every person. so it shouldnt make you eat less after youre used to them.

    as for gaining more weight .. o.o usually there are questions for losin weight never the opposite but i guess eating more carbs n less veggies? XD

  7. you should try eating mcdonald's every day... but not for every meal. eat fat filled, sugary foods. you will see a change withing a short period of time

  8. I don't know about the weight thing, but braces will only bother you the first day. They might bother you when you get them tightened, but it won't stop you from eating, you'll get used to them within a week.

  10. well I had braces before and I saw that it hurts the first few days when you eat. Try to eat soft stuff when you get them like noodles and spaghetti. Also if your in pain drink hot water or soup to ease it.

    for the gaining weight part i guess you should try consuming oily stuff. although it could be really bad for you. im guessing ice cream and fast food like mcdonalds, burger king, and wendy's.

  13. EAT MORE HIGH CALORIE FOODS SUCH AS BANANAS, SANDWICHES, PEANUT BUTTER. WORK OUT BY LIFTING WEIGHTS MORE. DRINK MILK SHAKES & SMOOTIES.

  14. 1) just try eating more, more often and try to eat a lot of healthy foods because i heard that can help you gain weight better than junk food can on some people

    2) i have braces and they will not really keep you from eating that much, only like 3 or 4 days a month or so after you get them on and tightened. during those few painful days you can always put you food in a blender or drink a lot of milkshakes and smoothies

  15. Go to GNC and buy a weight gainer. You will see resluts in a month if you follow the diet and work out routine. Don't eat donoughts like someone said, drink weight gainer protien drinks so that you gain muscle not fat.  Your metabolism slows down around age 30.  So if you are much younger, it will be hard to keep the weight on, but you can if you work out a lot.  Eat pasta and high carb food too before you work out, it will help give you the energy and strength needed to work out, plus keep weight on.  Good luck!  

  16. I have braces and the pain only lasts a few days and isnt enough to make you stop eating. It just makes you want to eat softer foods. So you don't have to worry about that too much.

    I suggest eating lots of carbs and protein (meat and eggs) to gain 22 pounds. I dont know how fast you will gain it with the working out at the gym. Just make sure you do more muscle strengthening excercises than cardio.
