  1. What helped me.......was driving a tractor a lot.......and also putting a small trailer behind it......practice practice practice....If someone would go with you go out into one of these big store parking lots after they close and just see how many different things you can do .....try to hit all the spots....and try to stop and pretend points drive in circles turn left and right.......hand and eye ........stop quick ....back up and besure to look....practice parking front and backwards....Have the person with you help you to think of things to do...........you have to learn to drive defensively also...so be aware or what's happening around you....during the day I will glance at the front tire of someone coming around a corner at me.......to see his relationship to the lines in the road..............good luck.........do not be afraid....drive carefully and sit up straight.       night

  2. Tomorrow is soon!I would ask God to help you through it.Just remember there is room for any annoyed driver to get around you so don't feel like people are mad at you. With practice you will get more comfortable..trust me.Figure out how you learn best. For me it's watching and memorizing where I am,not reading maps.Keep telling yourself "I can do this"I had to talk my way through it for a while.I got my license on the first try!boy I was amazed. You can do it too.Good luck and take care.

  3. forget about getting a license... you are too old

should've gotten it when you were 18!! duhh!

  4. The only thing that will give you real confidence that is not misplaced is practice.  You need to drive as much as possible and in as many conditions as possible.  There really isn't any other way.

  5. Don't compare yourself to others.  There is no such thing as a "right age" to accomplish things.  Look up some breathing excercises...focusing on your breathing can sometimes help anxiety...it does for me.
