How to germinate seeds from fresh pepper pods?

i came across some ornamental pepper plants (Capsicum annuum 'Garda Tricolor') and they are sooo pretty!

i pick a few pepper pods hopeing to find a way to germinate them so i can have them in my yard. can someone give me some advice on germinating the seeds from the fresh pepper pods. thanks!

  1. this may help, let some of the seeds dry out,when completely dry put out into a potting mixture, say into a shallow tray, put in a plastic bag, keep it moist and leave out in a warm spot in the sun, if the nights are cool bring inside to the hotwater cupboard, follwing morning put outside again, when the plants are about 3ins. high, plant them
