How to get Black Pen Mark off Expensive Dress?

Hi, I've got a very expensive dress, it appears to have what looks like a black pen mark on it. How do i get the mark off without harming the dress? The dress is made from 100%polyester.

Spray a solution of Windex and water on the stain, then hand wash the dress with mild soap and  water - hang it up to dry.

Polyester washes very well - if you need to take out any wrinkles - use a low temperature setting on the iron.

Is it ball point ink or marker?  I would take it to a dry cleaner and show it to them.  Ball point ink comes out with hairspray.  You spray the hairspray on a cloth, and holding another clean cloth under the stain, you dab at it without rubbing.  Keep doing that until you lift the stain.  But, with an expensive dress, I'd ask a good dry cleaner.
