How to get Brasil citizenship?

Im a college student studying Environmental science...Once Im done with my degree I was thinking of moving to Brazil. So, I was wondering if it is difficult, and what are the steps in obtaining Brazilian citizenship(Im American). Also I would like to know a bit more about the Brazilian Environmental science field and how competative the job market is.
