  1. YUP. mother nature is right......lol it melts plastic.. try chipping it off and sanding it lightly.... after you have got it off... don't go to deep.... . get some 600 grit wet sand paper...(the black sandpaper).. or ... since you do your nails.....lol. start with your courser nail file... and end with the finest nail file you have.. wet it slightly.... (only on the final sanding) and sand out the scratches you will be good as new.

  2. USE A RAZOR BLADE OR TRY WD40 AND A RAG

  3. Oops  You should find it in your local hardware store.

  4. Nail glue has a tendency to melt the plastic slightly as it dries, that's why it works so well.

If you have a raised bump of dried glue, you might be able to chip it off.

If it has melted your plastic, sand it gently (or if you could get your hands on a Dremel, that would be perfect) until it is smooth then cover the spot with a cute sticker to hide it.

  5. The safest product to try first is Goo Gone.  This will not discolor the plastic and should work.  Be sure to use in small amounts like with a Q-tip.

If the Goo Gone doesn't work, you'll have to use Nail Polish remover or Mineral Spirits (paint remover).  Use these VERY sparingly as they are probably going to discolor the plactic a little.
