How to get Spain Visa (schengen) in emergency situation?

Hello, I have to attend a conference in Spain on September 7th. I am in the UK. But the visa appointment is only available from September 23rd at Spanish Embassy, London. Please any one know how to get Spanish visa (schengen) in this emergency situation? I will be grateful to you for your reply. Jay
