  1. It really is tough to get toddlers to eat veggies. MY daughter is almost 3 and it's a battle at most meal times. If she's really being stubborn, I give her a little ranch dressing and she dips the veggies in there and eats just fine. I also make home made pizzas and puree carrots, red peppers, green peppers and sometimes zucchini right into the sauce and she doesn't even know it. It's OK to hide veggies in foods, otherwise they just won't get enough of what they need.

  2. We call broccoli "little trees" and have her tell us how many trees she wants.  Also, sugar snap peas that she can take apart herself are a big hit.  Edamame is great, and gets some protein into them, too.  Well, those are kindof advanced for a 14-month old, but you get the picture.

  3. I'm CLEARLY no expert but I find that my daughter loves veggies that she can pick up herself. I use canned peas, drained, cold and those are a HUGE hit - or I'll make carrots and cut into quarters, same with sweet potatoes. She'll eat cold broccoli too but past that, we pretty much rely on fruits, black beans and red beans. Good luck!
