How to get a MAC Cosmetics PRO Card Membership?

Question

I am a full-time Speech Pathologist. However, I also do side work as a Make-up artist for weddings and other events. I do not have a registered business or professional license in cosmotology. I only have my business card advertising my services.

I spend hundreds of dollars at the MAC store each month. I recently looked at the qualifications for a MAC PRO Card. They are requesting two pieces of credentials....business card ect.

Anyone have any idea based on the websites qualifications how a part-time, self employed "make-up artist" could obtain a PRO MAC card/membership?

Any feedback would be helpful.

I just got approved for my card last Friday. If you can provide a business card and a letter of recommendation I think you will get approved. Make sure your business cards look professional. I got mine from zazzle.com and they looked great!!

What is the consequence if I try and scam? I mean, I love make up. I purchase hundreds of dollars, I do make up, but I do not consider myself a MUA.

i got a couple of letters of recommendation, a few photos of my work, my business card, an invoice to my business etc, provide as much proof as you can as to prove your not just someone trying to save a buck.
go on the pro website, download and print the application and have the payment in your bank, my payment went out within a week and it helps so much, some people do try and scam, they make business cards on microsoft word etc. and dont get accepted because they arent proffessional looking.

believe me it is so worth it! :)
