How to get a Visa to live in America?

Lived in england for 12 years now.. Nationality portuguese...

Your only options are:

1)  If you have an in-demand skill and a degree, get a US employer to offer you a job and apply for a work visa.

2)  Marry an American

3)  Be successful in the visa lottery.

let me know if you figure it out - differcult - if you work for a company that has offices/branches out there - then you can transfer and the company will Sponsor / vouch for you - or if you have money to invest in a US company etc. - there is also a 'green card lottery' but only a very small number of people from UK are chosen.. tough one - let me know..!
