You need a liscense to own a bb gun where I'm from you don't need a liscense to own a real gun unless it's fully auto sounds like your country need to elect some politicians with some common sense

It is the same as a firearms licence, so you either take a course or challenge the test if you know everything on the test already. If it is under 500 FPS though, you won't need a licence to buy it.
