  1. It really depends on which State he was born in.  Usually you can order them through the State Vital Records Dept for births that occurred in the last 100 years, then the County Courthouse prior to that.

This link lists provides the list of sites for each State.

  2. my husbands grandpa didnt have one.

Good luck. and talk to your family/relatives...they could possibly have info you may need to further your search too.

  3. try uscerts.com

  4. look in the town city hall of ur great grandpa, and ask them to look in their records, most will keeep them kept in vaults in the back..

  5. INTERNET!  Lol

  6. Call up to the Vital Records Dept in your area. You will need to know the county he is born in...or atleast the town, and they should be able to help you find one!

  7. you may want to try the health department in your area.  when i was looking up my great grandfather's i just needed to know what county he was born in and state and went to the health department of that county and gave them his name and was able to find it .   although i did have to pay a fee .  i was also able to find death records the same way.

    good luck

the other was some of my relatives didn't have birth records so the family bible was a way some of my relatives kept track of births and deaths in the family.

  8. Kinda had a sim problem, You can actually go to your local DMV and they will give you paper with several different phone numbers, web sites and addresses to contact..I called and they told me everything I would need, put it in on-line and had it in 3 days..it cost me a little more to receive it so quickly, but they had a 4-7 week shipping that was much cheaper...GOOD LUCK..

  9. contact your birth, deaths, and marrages unioun. you may be able to find their number on the net or phonebook

  10. First you have to know where you G Grandpa was born. Some counties hold the birth records that far back. Other places send it to the state capital that far back. If you are unsure of where he was born I would start by checking the census records. Be aware, too, that some starts didn't require birth cirtifictes until a certain year ( not sure what that year is). I have also run into states that will not release birth certifictes without a death certificate shown. hope this helps

  11. i think yu just go to the hospital
