i have recently received a family photo that was taken about 26 years ago. There is no copyright marked on the picture. How do I find the person that took the picture? It is too big to fit into a scanner and my sisters want a copy of the picture. What else can i do?

  1. Take it to a photo processing place - they will almost certainly have a much bigger scanner that your photo will fit into, and they will be able to do prints that are larger or smaller than the original if required.

You'll pay for the privilege, but it's worth it and a lot less hassle than trying to track down the person who still has the original negative (if it even exists).

  2. Simple take another snap of your picture and then go through the rigmarole of having it developed, or if you're smart like me, buy a camera that don't require film.
