You have to get credit by getting a credit card or personal loan, for that you need income.  How are you living with no income?  If you are doing jobs under the table, someone could co-sign something for you.

I have recently heard of a company that you pay to get put on other peoples credit (they are paid for it in turn) and that can boost your score, but ppl are trying to outlaw it!

You can't. How do you expect to pay off a credit debt if you have no revenue coming in?
