I'm a teen and i'm going on a cruise at the end of August. It's an 8 day to the Eastern Caribbean. I know cruises are very romantic so I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on meeting some girls while on board.

  1. hey! i went on the disney cruise and tehre was this guy who liked me.....he was a freak. he stocked me during the parties and when my cousin and i were trying to find my step brother and our friend hw freaking started runing to talk to me! weriiiddddd.!!! But go into the teen area(if they have one) and start talking to a girl(: Ask where shes found and stuff like that(:

  2. You did not say which cruise ship you are going on but they all pretty much have the same type activities for teens.  That would include a teen club where teens in the range of 14 to 17 can hang out all day and even up until about 2:00 AM every night.  The teen clubs have a disco with music, food, and organized games and activities.  That would be your best opportunity to meet other teens, including girls.

Here's a link to the teen activities on Carnival ships:

So just go for it and enjoy the teen areas on ship.

  3. I know some cruises have like teen mixers, so if yours has one of those, id just like accidently bump into a girl and just start talking, but not like in a cheesy way or it noticable that you did it on purposed cause then it makes girls feel uncomfortable. Once youve been talking enough, start flirting a little and see what happens. Hope ive helped, haha

  4. yeah i just got off the carnival liberty about a month ago.

    i'm 17.

i met tons of guys on board.

    but i'm really outgoing.

    so be outgoing and friendly.

    it's like going to a party;

if you see someone you're interested in

sit down next to her and say something like "why don't i know you" and ask her name. ya'll will start talking.

  5. Both of my brothers (17 & 18) met a ton of girls on our last cruise and had a great time. I recommend that you be open to new experiences and just get out there and be friendly. There will be a ton of other teens on your cruise, and most ships have areas split up by age group. Though it may sound kind of dorky, give the activities a try since they're such great ice breakers. My brothers met a lot of girls just by hanging out in the hot tub chatting with people and having a good time at the karaoke lounge in the evenings, but the most important thing is to be friendly and participate in what's going on around the ship, and you'll be making friends (of both sexes) in no time.

  6. Hello! A cruise is definitely a very romantic place to meet someone. There are lots of on board activities that can help you meet new people. I would suggest looking over your cruise itinerary or schedule of events. Find social activities that pique your interest. This is very important. If you're doing something you like and that you're good at, your enthusiasm and skill will be naturally attractive to the opposite s*x. If you'll be on the cruise with other travel companions use them to help you gain an introduction with the lady of your choice.

Like you, the single women on board are probably open to meeting someone to share these exciting experiences with. It shouldn't be too difficult, just be friendly and approachable. Also, remember to look sharp, you've got very little time to make a first impression so you want to make sure that you're representing yourself in the best way possible!

Here's a very fun article that talks about others success in finding love at sea. It seems very possible, in fact almost likely that you'll meet someone on board. (And contrary to a previous posters experience, this article claims that some couples actually end up getting married after meeting on board!)

  7. im sorry to disappoint you, but its probably not the best choice to try to get a girl while on a cruise.

the last time i went on a cruise i met a guy and we hit it off right away. it was fun while it lasted, but after the cruise its very unlikely you two will ever see eachother again. most girls can get attached very easily and even though guys are different and you probably wont get too attached, she probably will. it will really suck when you and she gets home and realize that yall wont ever see eachother again.

i'm sorry, but its true. ive learned from experience.
