I'm 27 wks and tossing and turning and just very uncomfortable. I wake up all through the night. So in the morning I'm still very very tired. Anyone have any ideas? I already take a warm bubble bath like almost every night but that's not helping once I lay down. My back hurts mostly. Thank you!

  1. My cousin had this it was because she thought she was going to squish the baby so she couldn't sleep right. Your doctor might have some ways to sleep. Try putting a massager on your back and laying on your back at night with a pillow under your back maybe? She kicked her boyfriend out of the bed so she could sprawl out lol. Congrats though :). Your doctor might have some suggestions.

  2. valium always does it for me or just stay up for like 3 days and eat a rabbits foot and drink a stew of eye of newt and tail of frog followed by a 12 oz of jack daniels or get your husband to take a bat to your head.... this is a remidey from my religion ... TRUST ME! <3

  3. Drink alot of water!! or tylenol pm if you accept those drugs...

I have had that problem but started drinking water and leaving the tv on lol, it helps tho.. seriously

  4. Firstly, do NOT drink any type of alcohol or take any kind of tylenol, as that could harm your baby, we need to think ahead on that for the child's sake.  Also, you might try sleeping on your side with say 2 or so pillows propped between your legs, that helped me.  Your mattress might also be a culprit so, that could be something to consider - a new one, more firm would help for sure.  Hope that helps, and all the best to you.

  5. Well, my wife used to get lettuce leaves in the bathtub, that relaxed her a lot, take deep breaths and relax, for aprox 20mins-45 mins. then have a glass of warm milk, that should do it, give it a try and let me know if it helps. BTW congratulations for your baby boy.

  6. have a stiff one!!!

  7. This sucks i still have some trouble sleeping, i know everyone is different but here are some things you can try that help me.

I have found putting pillows between my legs and under my belly and laying on my side this should relieve your back ache a little.  You could also try propping yourself up with some pillows so your sort of siting up in bed.  Can you ask your partner to rub/ stroke/ tickle your feet/legs/back i love that and it sends me straight to sleep!

If you wake up in the middle of the night- like i do- try sitting up on your hands and knees, put a pillow under your belly, put your head down on some pillows and stretch your back out this relaxes me also.

    Good luck!

  8. have a beer or a glass of wine after your bath.

  9. Exercise. Is the best way to get a good night sleep. XD

  10. Chamomile Tea

  11. pop 2-3 sleeping pills and you'll be sleeping like a baby for 12 hrs!!

  12. do you have a body pillow? i put it between my legs and under my tummy and slept like a rock while i was sleeping on my side

  13. clear yr mind of thinking

    hot milk

    fresh air

  14. Forget the bubble bath, this has worked for me countless times for whatever reason. When I had poison ivy awhile back (I know unrelated, but bear with me), I soaked in the tub in the warmest water I could stand for a good 20 or so minutes, or to the point where I felt drowsy. It could be in the middle of the day but if I did this, I'd be ready to drop where ever I was and just doze off. If you try this, have clothes nearby or something. Once I was so drained of energy I just went to sleep naked in a towel on top of the comforter.
