you know the tubes that lead down to a hamsters cage? well she just sits in there, all day. until night time then she goes crazy. I have a 6 year old sister and she got it for her birthday and as you can probably tell she is very upset about this. Hes been here for 3 days and hes only shy during the day but when lights are out shes like a whole new hamster. ask if this doesn't make sense. :) Peaceeee.

  1. hamsters, like many rodents, are active at night so the hamster hiding in the tube is perfectly normal because the hamster is still shy/scared of you/her. it'll be more social eventually.

  2. Maybe it's shy - if it's only been there for 3 days, he's probably just getting used to you. If after a few weeks it still stays there all the time, try taking the tube out and tape over it with duct tape. or put a treat outside of the tube - he'll come out and take it. If none of that works, you can usually bring a hamster back to the pet store.

  3. Say please....

  4. Hamsters are nocturnal so your hamster is probably just sleeping inside of the tubes. Nothing to be worried about.
