How to get a job at age 13?

I'm thinking of leaving my home soon and start a living. i just don't know how to start. please help!!!

You must be going through a hard time with your family right now to want to leave home at age 13!  When I was thirteen I sometimes felt like leaving but now that I am older and have Children of my own, I realize what pain parents would feel about there child to run away.  I'm sure there are other ways to sort out you're feelings, try those before you think about leaving your family. Well your Idea of leaving home in order to make a living at your age is rather impressive. I'm sure it's better then what a lot of other people are doing. But unfortunately you are not old enough to work,the legal age is 14  you could probably babysit or do some odds and ends for your neighbors such as cutting grass but that's about it. I'm going to assume that you are having problems at home other wise it wouldn't be normal for a 13 year old to want to leave home. If you are in an abusive home there are people that you can contact for help. First you should bring it to the attention of your school such as an adviser or nurse they will in turn contact social services to help you. 13 is also an age of where you think you know everything and can also be very disruptive within your home so if that is the case maybe you should just calm down and chill out for a while just to see if things settle down it may not be as bad as you think unfortunately none of us know what is going on with you but if your home is physically abusive you must bring that to the attention of your school they will know how to help you. i'm not trying to be mean, but dont do that. I know you may be mad at your parents or family, but doing that will only make it worse! leaving at 13! i mean, you'll regret that later. when you cant get in to college, and you have no support from your family and you're wrokgin at subway living on the road! again,i know you're mad, but just stick with it! you cant get a job at 13~ it's not legal! just stick with it and you'll be happy! im 13 and i thought about that, but i thought about my future. you're a tteenager that's what you're supposed to think

i am 13 too. and i know sometimes i get mad and i want to leave home.... but seriously if you think about it your parents or guardians are the ones who are taking care of you when your sick or you need school supplies.... they buy everything you need to get better or the things you need. they do so much for you. you can just abandon them at the age of 13. and besides the fact that it is illegal.... and you cant rent a place of your own at 13..... you WILL regret this later on in your life. don't leave them i am sure they love you and want you to stay. so don't leave. you need to stay with them

hm im not gonna tell u not to leave home cuz i know uve probably heard it all b4 and its not wat u wanna hear..

its pretty hard to get a job at that age, but if ure mature, u could get a job as:

- City Beach (theyre ALWAYS hiring, just go in and tell them ur looking 4 a job)

- Mcdonalds (or another fast-food place)

or

-At a supermarket, as a trolleypusher dude

** note that if u really want a job, go in and apply in person, ure much more likely to get chosen then ;)

It's simple, you won't be able to make a living.  At 13 you're not legally allowed to work, so your options are limited.  Basically, you can sell yourself to pedophiles, sell drugs, or baby-sit.

At 13, IF you could get a job (and in many places you can't) you couldn't earn enough money to support yourself, sorry.  Rent, utilities, food, medical, clothes.. all cost a lot of money.  Stay at home and try to work on whatever it is that makes you want to leave.  Good luck.
