How to get a link (10 pts calling all pc whizzes.)?

Ok. let's see if i can word this right. how do you get a link from another page.for example on Y/A a lot of people will put a link like http://www.centralcrafts.com/scp/ceramics when they want someone else to click on that one and it will open up that link.sorry for asking these simple questions to all you pc savvies,i just started using the pc and have no idea.thanks in advance for all the help.

If you are talking specifically about answers just put the web address in the text and Yahoo will automatically make it a hyperlink. you will find that most programs will do it for you automatically.

What I Find easier to do is just highlight the address I want to use in the address bar of your web browser and then hit control-c and then to paste it into the text just hit control-v

If i get what you are asking you need to be more specific - What is the web page that you are writing encoded in or is it an online service?
