How to get a notice send to group when group calendar is updated?

When I add an event to the group's calendar I'd expect a notice to be sent to all members of the group. But that doesn't happen. At least not by default. Is there a way to specify that a notice should be sent to all members of a group when the group calendar is updated? Thanks, Bob

  1. No.  Each event has it's own notification selection.  It does not include sending notification when event is created though.  I suggest that you create a test event and explore all the options for notification.  When you understand how they work, you can delete the test event.


  2. there is no setting for that like there is for files. your event will be posted if you have it set up to go to the group- if you want an announcement, just send a post to your group stating it was updated
