How to get a parrot out of a tree?

My parrot went out my back door today, and went into a huge tree that is impossible to climb. I know she's there because I can hear her. But the tree is to tall for a leader and I put her cage and food out but she still has not come. I keep calling to her but nothing. She is very friendly, and know how to step on to your hand but she does not come when she's called and she has never been outside on her own. What else can I do???? Any suggestions our welcome!

  1. I would keep her cage outside by the tree where she can see it. Leave her fav toys and food in there. She will get hungry. And she will look for something familiar. Also I would keep going out there and doing whistles that she recognizes or say things that you say around her. Call her name and any other sounds she knows. I would also get a net so if she lands on the cage you can grab her easily without her getting away again. make sure you leave cage doors open for her. I would also let people in surronding area know and even put up pics of her. Could call wildlife place and see what they say. Good luck.
