How to get a person/ people to like you?

Question

I'm new at school and I want to be friends with people of course, but I'm wondering, if one of them seems to hate me, or just in general, how would you get people/ a person to like you?

Don't say that person doesn't matter just answer the question

you can&#039;t get someone to like you. unless you pretend to be someone you aren&#039;t i wouldn&#039;t suggest it. be yourself if it doesn&#039;t work, try to make other friends

first introduce yourself to them or her, then engage in a conversation, and just be yourself, remember don&#039;t be fake people hate fake people.

You cant force someone to like you. Just try to be compassionate to other people and listen to them. People love it when people listen. You cant get everyone to like you, but you can avoid major conflicts if you are always respectful.

be yourself, not what others want you to be. not everyone will like you. your friends wil be the people that like you for the way you are

Okay, this is going to sound cliche, but it&#039;s true: Be yourself!

I&#039;ve moved a lot during my child years and even now as a teen I still continue to move schools.

What I&#039;ve learned that works the most is to find common interests. Talk to the person about themselves, not you. Get to know them personally and genuinely listen. When you see them later on in the day, bring up a common subject. Get talking, start laughing. Don&#039;t take yourself too seriously. Soon enough, you&#039;ll have people loving you.

Of course, the cardinal rule is: be nice! Talk to everyone in every social ladder, so you get a feel for the kind of people they are.

Oh, and a good conversation starter that&#039;s ALWAYS worked for me: &quot;Can I borrow a pencil?&quot; It&#039;s as simple as that. Sit in front of someone you want to get to know, pay attention in class, and when the time comes, ask them for a pencil and geta  conversation going.

first of all you don&#039;t need to pretend to be somebody that they would like you to be...just be true to yourself and i think most of the people like it that way,,,it&#039;s not only you who is adjusting socially, even them have the same situation as you do...it&#039;s hard for the people around you to figure out who you really are if your not showing the real thing...if your successful in doing this the rest will just follow
