How to get a personlised number plate?

I have a 1999 car...i want to get a personilsed number plate...Maybe my name or something close to my name...my name is yasmin so i was thinking somthing like y45min or something like that

does anyone know how i do this?

my boyfriend did it on a website called DVLA cost £500

Go onto the DVLA site and see what they have! Be careful of ones advertising in newspapers and on the net - they are generally ripoffs.

go onto www.dvla.gov.uk and you can have a look and see what you're allowed to change it to. Bear in mind the starting costs are around £250 - £500 for even a small change

Don't bother? They always look so tacky and on a 1999 car would be utterly pointless. It will also decrease any resale value it might have.

Buy a Turbo charger instead.

just look on the net there are a lot of companys selling no plates most of them will go through every thing with you
