  1. If you're in the USA, find out where the closest flight school is.  Almost every airport has at least one.  Go there and talk to the instructors.  They will answer all of your questions.  Expect to spend anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 for your private pilot's license.  I would stick with a part 61 school, as opposed to a part 141 school (more paperwork and more expensive).

  2. Depends on what country you live in. This isn't yahoo-answers-america.com.

  3. In the U.S.A. you would:

Go to a local airport and find an FBO (fixed base operater) with flight instruction.

    Begin training.

Get a 3rd class medical certificate from an appropriate physician (you can locate these on the FAA web site).

Study for and take (and pass) your written exam.

Fly a minimum of 40 hrs (20 instructed) and then pass your flight exam with an aviation examiner.

Average flight time to get a private is more like 85 hrs, but you can do it with less if you are naturally skilled and take at least one lesson per week.

    Good luck.

  4. local airport or yellow pages. look for a flight school

it costs a lot of money. be prepared to dish out 10,000 or more

you have to be interested at the least. Hand eye coordination helps too. go talk to pilots at the school

you need to be at least 16 in the majority of flight schools.

being scared of heights is irrelevant.

  6. 1. To get a pilot's license, you can either go to a school that offers flight courses or go to your local airport and inquire about lessons. Most offer introductory flights for less than $100.

    2. The first thing you have to do is ask yourself why you want a pilot's license. Flying for recreation can be much less expensive than flying for a living. Either way, your first stop should be at your local airport at what they call the FBO (Fixed Base Operator). This is typically the business on the airport that sells fuel.

    3. Good luck and I hope you find as much joy as I have in aviation.

  7. I am currently doing the same thing.

Go to a community college and see if they have aviation classes.

You will have to take some general education classes such as science and math and writing. But it takes about 9 months and you will have your private pilots license. The cost for me will be about $10,500. It may differ from where you live.

Also, if you have a small county airport that you can go walk into and hang out and sit in the pilots lounge, talk with people there about how they got their license and if there was a way you could get it there. Let me tell you though, it won't be cheap.
