How to get a resin coat on a wood table?

I am trying to put a resin coating on a table. Anyone know how to do this? Im totally in the dark but I know it can be done.

"Resin" can be used to described almost any finish, other than oils.   Just what exactly did you have in mind?

Hobby Lobby has the same coating you want (the bar top coating) . The directions are simple, it is pretty much odorless, and the results are great if done right. A word of warning, READ THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE APPLYING. Then experiment with a smaller, expendable project first. This stuff has a shine that won't quit......
