How to get a sagittarius to lighten up?

When a male sagittarius has gotten really serious, (ie. talking about his feelings and relationship stuff) how can I get him back to just wanting to have fun with no commitment?

We use to just flirt a lot and have a good time. Things have really gotten dramatic between us and I (an aries) am not ready to settle into anything big. He thinks I really am but that I won't say it. How can I convince him to just have fun with me? ;)

  1. Gee, I don't know...  I get to be so stubborn to the point of real denial.  Ummmm, we do love blunt honesty, but I guess you tried that.  I suppose the only thing that might get him to snap out of it is ACTION, not words...  If you don't want a commitment, go out with somebody else.  I guess this will really hurt him, but................... Tis the truth.  Then again, I was in such denial that even that didn't help me, much, until she left me completely, and even then, it took me a while.  She looked me up after 10 years.  LOL  Good closure.  LOL

I don't know if it's a Sag thing, but I do value friendship more than anything.  Maybe you could refer to him as your friend "with benefits".  Just keep being honest with him and back it up with action.

On the other hand, isn't it just like a Sag to get real deep?  With my most recent gf, I had a hard time not getting really deep, even though I didn't love her, because I wanted to experience the emotions to their fullest extent (yet not being in love).  It confused the heck out of her.  She couldn't take it.  Now we're not even friends.  SUCKS

  2. wow thats a hard one!!!!

just act as serious they will get the point and lighten  up trust mee!! :)

  3. Don't worry, he won't be able to stay in a too serious mood for long--but they do occur from time to time.

And as said in the first reply, sagittarians, although laid back droll, generally aren't afraid of emotions or of "getting hurt" as much as air signs---they do like to explore the depths of the human psyche/emotions sometimes--out of curiosity and for lack of anything better to do.  And what better way to do so, than through a friendship/relationship??
