How to get a salamence with hydro pump?(pokemon pearl)?

Question

I've tried breeding with Seadra and Gyarados and both the fathers know hydro pump but the daycare man keeps saying they don't get along well. I got the info from bulbapedia but they don't breed. Would it work if I evolved Seadra into KIngdra? What pokemon can I breed it with?

As long as Seadra knows hydro pump(you could also lvl it up to 57 for dragon pulse) and it is a male breeding with a female bagon/shelgon/salamence, it should work. If it still does not work, and if you have wifi, you can email me and I'll trade you a HP/DP bagon with a modest or timid nature.

If it says they don't get along well, that just means that it'll take more steps until they have an egg. If it said something like they're completely ignoring each other, then you wouldn't ever get an egg. So the Seadra is fine, just keep them in the Daycare longer. Good luck!
